Euphree was founded in Houston, Texas in 2020 by CEO Daniel Basaldua. He assembled his first e-bike for fun from parts he purchased online. Later, when his sister asked him to build her a bike, Daniel realized there weren’t many affordable options that prioritized comfort and low weight—features that appeal to all riders, but that are statistically more enticing to women.
The company has taken the development process relatively slow, with only a handful of thoughtfully crafted e-bike models in its lineup. Each is built with name-brand components that are trustworthy and easily serviceable. Every model includes both front suspension and a suspension seatpost. And all of the company’s e-bikes feature glossy, automotive-quality paint.
With a focus on comfort, user-friendliness, and customer feedback, the brand’s e-bikes are clearly centered around providing the rider an excellent and enjoyable experience. Euphree’s products are also safety certified to UL 2271 and UL 2849 standards. The company also offers a US-based support team willing and able to help riders during the setup process and beyond.
We’ve been consistently impressed with Euphree’s offerings; the brand’s e-bikes look great, feel comfortable to ride, and feature high-quality components. They also offer an uncommon level of customization over the feel and behavior of the pedal assist system, as Euphree offers users the ability to switch between torque and cadence sensing modes.
